NOT SO BASIC BLAZER

A STYLE DIARY

- SMART DRESSING -

Smart dressing doesn’t have to be boring. With a mix of shapes, textures and of course a pair of killer heels and bag - you’re good to go. Welcome to the new era of power dressing as girlbossess take centre stage. Who said that dressing smart has to be boring!

I’d like to introduce you to the not so Chanel, Chanel bag. If you can’t quite afford the real thing pick up this ‘Boy’ dupe at a fraction of the price. The average joe probably wouldn’t be able to detect the difference, we’ll just keep it between us - don’t say I never give you anything! New brand crush Vip Me, is my go to for that oh so designer feel, from dupes to new designs it's a strong contender in my shopping rounds.

Let’s talk bell sleeves - the bigger the better, but wear with caution. They may look fabulous but there has been the odd avocado on toast disaster - eat only when necessary or roll them up! Caution aside, I was never one to stick to a ‘uniform’ so whether you’re in work or college break the rules with oversized sleeves.

The not so basic blazer, long line, leather detailing. Great for off to the office or over that magical christmas dress you want to unveil with class.

It’s something that I brand as a necessary addition to a wardrobe, perfect for those times when you just don't know what to wear - go back to basics. It nips in at the waist to keep your silhouette feminine and fabulous for those times when you may not feel that fabulous - post Christmas coma.
