THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE

Each month there are a few key products in my beauty collection that I like to rave over. I take beauty very seriously and have spent years trying and testing products before beauty blogging even began. I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin so maybe that’s why trial and error is so important when experimenting with new products or brands.

First is the Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder which has  a unique formula ensuring a fool-proof natural make-up result every time.

I am not a fan of contour kits as I think in broad daylight they can make your skin look dirty, so instead I like to take a natural bronzer and brush it lightly against where my face naturally contours.

As always I think it’s best to accentuate what you already have rather than trying to change the shape of your face.

Secondly we have the Guerlain Météorites Oxygen Moisturiser & Radiance Booster which is literally a breath of oxygen to light up your skin. It not only hydrates your skin but immediately renews its natural light from the inside out.

The formula’s complex is O2 Light, which helps encourage the skin`s natural light receptors. The best bit is that a light-reflecting polymer blurs surface imperfections for a visibly more radiant complexion, making it great for those days when you don’t want to wear makeup!

Lastly, this is the perfect fragrance to transport your senses from late Summer into the early signs of Autumn. Since Blair Warldorf introduced me to the scent of the Peony I have been completely obsessed so I had to pick this scent up to whisk my subconscious off to up-town New York.

Acqua Di Parma Peonia Nobile Eau De Parfum has a slightly fruity opening a combination of vibrant notes of black pepper and soft notes of raspberry is the perfect introduction to the intense flowery heart, where sumptuous notes of peony are enhanced by sunny geranium, soft, delicate Turkish rose and fresh freesia. The sensuous harmony ends naturally in the rich base notes of velvety, enveloping tones of amber entwined with woody accents of patchouli and musk.
