A SUMMER STYLE GUIDE

- Transitioning your wardrobe for Summer -

Sometimes the climate in England just isn't ready for all the summer clothes that are in the shops. Whenever I hit the high street all I see is an array of bikinis and shorts and I can't even make it out of the house without my overcoat and brolly in mid May! Sometimes the climate in England just isn't ready for all the summer clothes that are in the shops. Whenever I hit the high street all I see is an array of bikinis and shorts and I can't even make it out of the house without my overcoat and brolly in mid May!

So how do we update our wardrobe in Summer whilst still keeping in line with the cold temperatures? Well, my trick is to add a lot more white and nudes! By simply switching up your black jeans for a pair of white ones it will immediately make you feel like we MIGHT get some sunshine.

I'm never quite ready to embrace the shorts until we get that one heatwave but until then these cropped white jeans from Zara are great to tie me over. The frayed detail just above the ankle gives it a laid back feel to keep even the highest stilettos looking casual.

Finding plain staple tops (like my white camisole) with intricate detailing will make any outfit stand out a little bit more. The crossover straps on the back just give it an edge and most of all you can find them in every single colour in River Island.

I paired white staples with nude accessories to create this look, combined with a few rose gold highlights. These nude heels from Topshop are my favourite go-to pair that simply go with everything. This bag from Accessorize comes in an array of colours - but I opted for nude purely for its versatility.
