- The three statement styles you will need in your jean collection this Spring -
THE HIGH-WAISTED SKINNIES
A pair of high-waisted skinnies are the ultimate wardrobe essential and I know I am not alone when I say I have a pair in every shade. These skinnies are from Superdry which I wear on a regular, mostly due to how comfortable they are but also due to how hard-wearing they are as well. I paired them with this stripy long sleeved tee also from Superdry. This look is a perfect combination of sexy and casual for an off duty fashionista. Jeans are that one item that we all have in our wardrobes, so it’s important that we don’t neglect our collection. Updatingthe style of my jeans on a seasonal basis is something I do to keep things fresh and up to date.
Did you know the average female owns eight pairs of jeans, the most popular fits being Skinny, Boyfriend and High-Waisted.
THE BOYFRIEND JEANS
Boyfriend jeans are my absolute favourite to just hang round with my boyfriend in coincidentally. I feel so cute and girly in them even though it is loose and baggy from all directions. This is also the perfect outfit to tackle the high street in, with enough comfort and ease of movement to battle any crowd!
Chances are you’re wearing jeans more that any other item in your wardrobe, right? I certainly do, and more often than not I have the same cut in a number of different shades. As a go-to staple of every day wear, it’s important that you give your denim the care it deserves. But do you really know your denim and how to make it last?
THE RETRO FLARES
Who knew back in the 90's that our jeans we loved would make a comeback ten years later! I was the teen who painted my flares with glitter smiley faces, which unfortunately never lasted in my wardrobe into my twenties.
Who didn't love the 90's! I was probably the first person to rock the flares this time round due to my child hood connection with the fashion trend and obviously a Spice Girls lover. Ten years on with no glitter in sight, I paired it with some classic heels and a boob tube to create a chic summer look. Perfect to throw a cardigan on over the top for our lovely British unpredictable weather. I'm going to leave you with this little fact of the day! Did you know that you can clean your jeans and kill the bacteria simply by leaving them in the freezer over night? This kills most of the bacteria, without spoiling your jeans. Simple - put in a canvas bag, freeze overnight, defrost and wear!
