A WEEK IN DENIM
- HOW TO STYLE JEANS -
It’s safe to say that jeans are the one item of clothing every one has in their wardrobe. I’m not sure when jeans were invented but I have a feeling they’re going to be around for decades to come. Why are jeans so popular? Is it the comfort, durability, movability, flattery or all of the above? I wear jeans so much I really have to force myself out of them but somehow I always end up right back in my comfiest pair of jeans - which right now are these lush pair from Factory-Fashion.com.
Since ‘the jean’ was such a large part of my style I wanted to show you how you can create four very different looks whilst still wearing your trusted denim.
White jeans - a Summer staple for sure. The most important part of a white jean purchase is ensuring they are not see-through… in the slightest. There is nothing worse than a VPL (Visible Panty Line). These Sweet Look Jeans from Factory-Fashion.com are not see-through in the slightest and actually have a bum lifting technology that makes your derrière look a lot more bootylicious than it actually is - something I desperately need! Opting for white jeans just injects a boost of Summer into your wardrobe and is a great alternative to black for the warmer months.
The cropped jean also known as the ‘mum jean’ I believe - mum’s always know best because these are quite frankly the comfiest things I have ever worn. You can also pair them up or down - perfect with trainers and a simple tee or sophisticate it up with a pair of heels and a smart knit. The versatility of jeans is probably why they are such a popular outfit choice. Even though it’s Summer here in England the weather is not always glorious, us Brits are definitely partial to odd rain cloud. On this particular day a polo neck was essential and a perfect ensemble for that in between casual chic look.
I’m going to call this look ‘lunch date’ as it’s the perfect look to grab dinner with your friends and that’s exactly where I was heading this day. The skinny denim jean is the ultimate - the queen of the denim. We all have a pair right? These are a particular favourite as the pattern of the wash gives the illusion that your behind is a lot perkier than it actually is.
Outfit number four and a look a like to call ‘Retail Therapy’ - easy to whip on and off and ultimate comfort. These patchwork jeans are a fresh alternative to the typical denim jean and you all know how much I love unusual styles.
Fashion is always about trying new things and maybe acquiring certain items that no one else will have in their wardrobe. All these jeans have a super flattering waist band with stretch to avoid a ‘muffin top’ situation, perfect if you want to show a bit of flesh around your midriff.
